On the world famous Rogue River
Rogue River Landing Resort and RV is located along the Rogue River, within a five minute drive of Highway 101, in Gold Beach, Oregon, in the heart of America’s Wild Coast that extends over one hundred miles from Bandon, Oregon to the north, and south to Orick, California. It contains the highest concentration of wild rivers in North America. Other wild rivers beside the Rogue are the Sixes and Elk Rivers to the north, and the Chetco, Winchuck, Smith and Klamath Rivers to the south.
Gold Beach is known for being where the Rogue River meets the Pacific Ocean, and has grown as a southern Oregon tourist attraction with world-class salmon fishing and jet boat trips to the Wild and Scenic portion of the Rogue River. The Port of Gold Beach has protected dock facilities for commercial and pleasure vessels, and an airport with a 3,200 foot runway.
